Pridey - Our Inspiration
Inspired by our rescued Greyhound, Pride, aka 'Pridey,' we started Pridey Petcare™! It all started when C.C. worked 10-12 hours a day and she used to rush home at lunch to let Pridey out for a potty break. She figured out that after gas and wear and tear on her car (and her sanity), her daily visit was costing her close to $20 a day! And Pridey wasn't even getting a full walk because she didn't have time. So, she looked into and found an amazing dog walker and let him do a proper visit with her girl - at a smidgen more than it was costing her. She actually got to enjoy her lunch hour, got to know her coworkers better and relaxed knowing that her girl was getting what she needed.
Subsequently impacted by a corporate downsizing, and after she realized how important it was for her to have reliable, caring, experienced pet sitting and dog walking providers for her own 'baby girl,' She thought ... "let ME do try to do something I love!" So she started Pridey Petcare™!

Christine Carol (C.C.) - Chief Tail Wagger
Proprietor and 'Chief Tail Wagger,' C.C., grew up on a working ranch, caring for over 100 horses, along with cows, chickens, goats, dogs, cats and more! She also has experience as a Veterinary and Kennel Assistant. Her love and dedication to the care and welfare of animals is a huge part of her life.
She is a volunteer at the Greyhound Adoption Center and was a puppy raiser with Little Angels Service Dogs. She has completed Karen Pryor's 'Puppy Kindergarten' and 'Puppy College,' and 'Loose Leash Walking 101' through the Humane Society with her own (and her client's) pups. She is Pet First Aid Certified and she is also a graduate of the Paralegal program of USD and a proud alumni of SDSU - go Aztecs!

Ty - Office Manager (aka "Ty the Treat Guy")
Office Manager & 'Supervising Tail Wagger,' Ty, is a an experienced and competent dog walker and pet sitter. He’s a reliable, consistent, gentle companion for your pup and kitty and he takes pride in caring for his charges with skill and a playful nature.
Ty was a drug & alcohol counselor for teens and addicted and homeless Veterans for a decade prior to Pridey Petcare. Ty has also completed 'Loose Leash Walking 101' through the Humane Society and he is Pet First Aid Certified. He was a long-term volunteer at the Greyhound Adoption Center and raised service dog puppies with Little Angels Service Dogs.
